Summary
The protagonist, Meiphite, the Great Saintess, hides her true bold and fearless nature and instead plays the role of an ideal saint. Because of her outstanding abilities, she becomes the target of resentment and ostracism from the other saintesses. One day, Meiphite is falsely accused of attempting to assassinate another saintess. Unable to contain her anger, she goes on a rampage. Carried by that momentum, she sets off on a journey. Along the way, she encounters Gilliam, a beastman whose companions have been kidnapped, and the two decide to work together.
