Summary
Twelve stories, each focusing on different residents of a large high-rise. The setting is a high-rise in the midst of remodeling, so the old and new are mixed in. Adults and children, the wealthy and poor, those lonely and warm. Through all those windows and doors, each and every one of them lives their own life. “This Year’s Fireworks“, a young couple who moved in when they got married have their first summer together and their second fireworks display. “Walk the Night“, a young office worker misses the last train of the night, and has a long, long night walk before he reaches his apartment. “My Apartment Complex“, a widower has lived there for many years.
