Summary

This’d be a hit or miss for some readers. TW!!! This manhwa contains domestic vi0l3nce and r4pe. The story is a slowburn, so you really need to trust the process and be patient no matter how much it hurts. You especially shouldn’t get attached to the ml all too easily, altho you can say that his experiences are what’s turned him to the person he is today, (THIS IS JUST ME PERSONALLY OKAY) I don’t like how he turned out. He had the chance to escape and turn his life around when SPOILER: Sioanna gave him the chance to escape (homegurl even gave all her savings so that he could live a better life and from her words, marry and start a proper family), homeboy here took it, but lo and behold, he’s now a noble drunkard.
Bsfr, homeboy really asked “Did you never really try to look for me”, bro she gave you all her savings to run away. Did you also forget that she was in an abusive household constantly breathing down her neck? Sighhhhhh
Guys pero trust the process. Slow burns are supposed to be like this. I’d urge ya’ll to give it a shot. This is just a rant but it is essential to note that you’d first have to be suffer before you can get to the satisfying period of healing. I’m not dropping this because I personally want to see Sioanna and Estienne heal, even if they’re not endgame (not saying that they actually aren’t but best prepare yourselves)
