Look guys and gals, I get the main character (The Red head kid) loves and cooks great food but my gawd I personally do not like how he only cares for himself when it comes to cuisine and at the same time takes advantage of people around him just so he can get food to eat. It’s funny for his character. The book chose him because of his somewhat culinary skills and ability to create delicious flavors. He has the potential to become a great chef but if he doesn’t come to terms of how the real world works even time traveling to the past. He’s going to witness some horrible consequences. Even if he started cooking under an apprenticeship in the present world, he’ll still have a hard time adjusting to restaurant kitchen rules and of course basic etiquette. He’ll be under the harsh guidance of a professional chef.
