Jeez dude IDK if this an autobiography about the author or about me because it is somewhat exactly like what happened to me at the height of COVID and I got pancreatitis and I had to give up drinking sugary drinks and other foods but I did not escape from the hospital like this character did, I stayed for a day then released the next. I had to come to the realization that I am not young anymore and in my ripe early thirties. Live and learn I guess.
