Burn out. Normal but painful nonetheless. Man i relate to her in a way. Also I kinda know the reason why I dont like editor guy or her boss friend now that I see this. I mean, I have this nagging feeling i didnt like their relationship… Basis when coming back into her life? And i just realized why.

The boss friend, we all know she was just giving her an opportunity and is pitying Jiah sitch in finding a job but theres like a power play and form of insincerity. Editor guy is just an opportunist who wouldnt let go of a potential good egg, and now I see how he was in the past, he has remained himself but with more wrinkles.

None of them had proper closure of the friendship kind during this point in the past. Thats why its Jiahs impetus not to write again. Espesh old bestie. Granted Jiah didnt have the chance to share her pain and guilt to the two, and she should’ve apologized to them and if given opportunity shared her pain. But she couldnt, thats why she had to move on on her own. She knew she couldn’t trust herself and them anymore, its her fault and nothing is more painful than realizing your own folly.
