Summary
In 1942, as the hostilities on the Eastern Front between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany escalated to their most ferocious hours, the peaceful life of a young girl named Serafima in a small village on the outskirts of Moscow was utterly shattered. German boots trampled her homeland, claiming the lives of all of Serafima's dearest loved ones, including her mother. Just before she was to suffer the same tragic fate as her villagers, Serafima was rescued by Irina, a female Red Army soldier. Irina's somewhat malicious and bitter words ignited a fierce flame of hatred in the young girl's heart. She joined the ranks of the Soviet Red Army, directly trained by Irina in a unit of female snipers. Her sole goal: to sweep the invading horde from her homeland and avenge the assassin who shot her mother.
