Am I wrong to think that this hospital is weird? Coz, I just realised that gynecology wards and ERs, are usually physically positioned side by side in government hospitals… Or… This actually unique to my home country?
On second thought… This is probably dramatication, right?
There’s no way the management of a hospital can be this sloppy, and there’s no way gynecologists are not familiar with administering emergency surgeries. Instead of butting heads, they should be the one to first ready their own OR, and not nitpicking about examination or diagnose. I know because this is done to my own wife. In the hospital, where my wife was admitted, the OR for ER and gynecology department are basically just separate by a hallway.
I still remember there’s trail marks between the two ORs, clearly showing that it’s common occurrence…
