I just realised… So in Korea, only specialist can be surgeon?
When there’s even medical assistants and nurses in my country become surgeons, later on… Pretty sure, it’s an occupation that rely heavily on adept hands…where it’s not rare to hear surgeons quitting, for lack of skills, or hands injuries, or even due to old age.
To me, I always able to spot that… Young, with muscular armed doctors tend to also be surgeons…
We actually differentiate specialist surgeons and normal surgeons, where there’s even hospitals, named “specialist”, exactly because they have a number of specialists.
While it’s not like non-specialist hospitals, would surely have none, but they’re either few or just one, or…. they used rotation system, where they invite specialist as guest doctors or even guest residents….
