Summary
Fianma, once a count’s daughter, lost her family and her title to the deadly plague ravaging the imperial capital. Two years later, though a cure was finally developed, it came too late. She succumbed to the illness. “If only we had allied with the Cornaro family… None of this would have happened.” That bitter regret was her last thought. When she opens her eyes again, Fianma has returned to her eighteen years old self, two years before the plague’s outbreak. Determined to save her beloved family, she resolves to marry her former enemies, the next Duke of Cornaro, Alfond. “I love you.” What begins as a desperate, calculated seduction to protect those she holds dear soon twists into something entirely unexpected… Fianma finds herself bewildered by the overwhelming affection of the very man once known as the coldhearted duke.
